Felt like doing some tabbi original art. I haven't drawn her for a while, I'm drawing them on the same size that I drew the pages of the graphic novel. 7 x 10" Bristol board. I think she's gonna have a hat for book too, if there's enough demand for me to get that started. I drew on that size to force me to keep the book simpler and the style a little simpler, with much less brush, strokes and rendering if any. Because I know if I draw larger, I'm gonna fill that shit up so much and go to town.

i've been doing some drawings with her with a full face mask too that feel pretty nice. I have some loose ideas for a couple of short stories already.

been listening to some podcast talking about basically the sad state of social media, and how things are moving toward discord and things called dark forests. Interesting to keep hearing about right now , my version of that, is this site. Ever since I got it going a few months ago, it always felt like my own claim that I finally staked out, a permanent convention table, right now it's pretty quiet and invisible, like in the back corner of a large convention, but it's there, and it feels the time that I spend adding to it are more valuable than on the other platforms.
I heard another podcast ,that felt right, where they were saying the social media platforms are now just the placards where we can maybe find people or they can find us, lookie lose drive-bys, and then the one out of 1000 serious fans will congregate more on websites, for more in depth and personal content and connection. That's what I'm doing now more myself. Tracking down artists and getting stuff directly from them on their site.
Tough to put the current state of affairs into words, but these are some of the things that I'm thinking and feeling. I appreciate everybody coming by here and checking things out, have a good night!
